Abstract: This paper describes the work done on the implementation of an integrated mobile lecture capture system, which enables a faster workflow and the deliverance of high definition lecture records. The installation of two mobile remote controlled dome cameras and a HD video mixer ensures to accompany the content from annotated slides with live cuts of the lecturer from different angles and perspectives. The professional TV like production increases on the one hand the speed of processing for the production team and on the other hand enhances the viewing experience for the students. Positive feedback from students and an analysis of the media server log files indicate an increasing demand for videos, especially for mobile devices.
