Abstract: In a world where every work field either involves or influenced by computing, computation thinking becomes an important skill for the 21st century students. In this study, a quantitative study is carried out to determine Taiwan high school and vocational school students’ computational thinking skill. Fifteen tasks, five easy, five medium, and five hard, from the International Bebras Contest were selected and used as computational thinking test questions. In all, 3,416 students from 18 high schools and 695 students from 9 vocational schools participated in this study.
