Abstract: This paper describes a new technique of memorization assistance for a digital textbook. A method of a memorable annotation, MicroStory, was introduced where a sentence was semi-automatically generated describing a known person performed what was related to the target word to remember. A model experiment of memorization was performed regarding the model digital textbook pages. The result suggested that memorization performance in terms of target word recall was improved by using the proposed method.
