Abstract: When teachers prepare a lesson, they integrate methods as toolkit to communicate lesson content to students. While there exist uncountable different methods for teaching, the process for transforming a pedagogical approach into classroom practice is frequently based on individual experience of the teacher. Furthermore, the resulting transformation is highly individualized to the teacher’s characteristic of teaching. In this paper we present an approach, how a pedagogical theory can be transformed into a uniform representation of patterns, which can again be easily reused by other teachers or integrated into a virtual learning platform.
