Creating Expressions of Lived Experience Through Game Design

Abstract: This paper discusses findings from a research study that explored how game design can be used as a creative expression of lived experience by teens. The project included an online teacher development program and a game design camp for teens. The study applied a concurrent nested mixed method design to capture perspectives and analyze artifacts created during the sessions. Program details and research findings will be explained and discussed.
