Abstract: The round table will focus on development of a standards based information literacy program with emphasis on strategies that can foster faculty-librarian collaborations towards meeting the information literacy competencies for student success. Standards, performance indicators and outcomes as outlined in the Association of College and Research Libraries' Information Literacy Competencies for Teacher Education will be described. The example to lead off the discussion is one university education librarian's information literacy program to align core teacher education program courses to these information literacy standards.
