Abstract: Formative assessments have existed from the days of Plato, Aristotle, and Socrates. In today’s society there are multiple technology-facilitated formative assessment tools and applications. Technology has made formative assessments more accessible and effective providing students with engaging learning environments. When choosing technology-facilitated assessment tools, care must be taken to ensure that the tool selected is fun, creative, challenging and reliable. In the series of 4 articles that follow, the writers chronicle how they are utilizing technology-facilitated formative assessment tools in their respective classrooms
