Abstract: In this Best Practices session a virtual collaboration between preservice teachers and gifted third and fourth graders that took place in the Fall of 2019 will be shared. The collaboration occurred around the Khan Academy curriculum, “Imagineering in a Box.” The third and fourth graders worked toward completing the curriculum and the preservice teachers provided feedback on design and support in designing with Tinkercad using Flipgrid, a video communication tool. Both the university professor and the gifted intervention specialist will outline the experiences of each set of students during this collaboration.
