Abstract: This poster describes work to create an Arduino program that would advance Computational Thinking (henceforth called CT) via physics content students will experience in museum exhibits demonstrating the work of underrepresented scientists. CT skills are complex, higher order thinking skills with which students struggle to engage (Wing, 2008). We propose a plugged-in physics and computer programming learning task. This task is innovative because students will independently create and apply a CT concept as the best solution to their inquiry-based science learning tasks.
