Abstract: It is posited that teaching/learning today in the new age of data is steered differently. The internet of everything irrevocably means a digital lifestyle. Intergenerational cohorts and reckless upstarts have stepped up innovation impacting education. This new age of data seems to include a new generation of learners and educators that are starkly different. This case study explored these variables within a situated context. 81 participants were included in the case study. Two research questions were posed: (1) Research Question One: Are educational teaching/learning information technology tools integrated into your learning context? (2) Hypothesis One: Younger educators, like Nexters, teach collaborative information technology learning structure better than Millennials. The results of the research study were promising. It is recommended that the results are further explored given that inter-generational cohorts, information technology, and intellectual capital have played a constructive role in structuring teaching and learning.
