Abstract: This panel discussion presents a group of discussants who each research the use of innovative technologies to support current and future teachers in their efforts developing and supporting creative classrooms—such as elementary teachers contextualizing mathematics education within music and dance themed activities, along with middle school science teachers incorporating transmedia books into their classroom. These and other similar examples of field-tested best practices for generating creative classrooms will anchor a discussion that aims to provide guidance to other compatible endeavors. At the conclusion of the panel discussion, the participants will discuss future research and development efforts designed for supporting creative classrooms that employ innovative uses of educational technologies.
