Workforce Readiness (instead of workforce preparedness) expository & digital literacy portfolio showcase
Abstract: Spanning nearly 20 years of formal higher education research, instructional design, clinical application, quantitative & qualitative data analysis and refinement across all curricula, [the proposing author] serves as principal investigator/faculty member and methodology facilitator at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Core Focus: Impact and assessment clarity with mentorship tactics applying technology and institutional resources while building an optimal workforce readiness portfolio showcase. Results: Reflective thinking, roll-play, constructive criticism, pedagogic transparency, and mentorship relationship, creating a unique pro-active position for future proofing career opportunities using technology and innovative curriculum development to generate an unconventional and highly effective INSIDER connection. Deliverables: Various definitions, distinctions and training modules will be shared during the roundtable presentation. Pitfalls, mistakes, unintended consequences and best practices will be provided. Most significantly the principal investigator/facilitator will share some of the “secret sauce” incl. rubrics, LMS optimization & configurations, samples and flexible software applications.
