Abstract: Presenters will share the history of the development and evolution of the National Council of Teachers of English's (NCTE's) Belief Statements on Integrating Technology into the English Language Arts Classroom from 2005 to now. In addition, members of the original Commission on English Education (CEE) who developed and then revised them will share and unpack the belief statements, and also share specific practical examples for supporting the transition from theory to practice in terms of technology integration and digital literacies in English language arts classrooms.
