Abstract: This study explores the experiences of school principals in China and the United States and how they raise the quality of education and navigate their role as a school principal. It will also present the challenge of recontextualizing the best American school principals' experiences with technology, creativity, and dialogue for schools in China. The emphasis is on qualitative methodology to generate school principals' experiences for better teaching. All findings should lead to school improvement by providing a quality education framework that leads to student achievement as well as preparing teachers in China and the United States. This includes a study on the preparation of school principals in using technology as a tool in school improvement.
