Abstract: The study develops and employs a pioneer distance learning educational robotics workshop for adults-learners. It examined the implementation of the workshop and how it enhances the development of knowledge and skills of adults-learners in educational robotics, and the effectiveness of the DL mode of delivery for educational robotics. Thirty adult-learners participated for 3 months in the workshop. Upon its completion, the adult-learners participated in an online survey and 8 of them participated in personal interviews. The results revealed that distance learning mode of delivery is appropriate for educational robotics (and other hands-on subjects) and suitable for adult-learners. A great contribution to the aforementioned are the instructor’s role, the design, delivery and development of the course content and material.
