Biography
Lauren Cifuentes is a College Professor in the Department of Teacher Preparation, Administration, and Leadership at at New Mexico State University where she teaches Critical Digital Literacy, Educational Design and Development Research, and Technology and Pedagogy. Her expertise lies in cognition and learning design, particularly for distance learning. Her current primary research interests are in responsive multicultural curriculum design and development as well as administration of distance education and design of effective online instruction, including design considerations for motivating administrators and instructors to build online programs.
