Description
The Faculty Development SIG focuses on professional development of educators beyond initial teacher preparation utilizing technology to facilitate delivery and/or to support the efforts of educators to integrate technology into practice. Relevant activities include graduate programs leading to awards, in-service programs offered to educators working in institutions at any level, and initiatives which facilitate organizational change associated with technology. Increasing understanding of how lessons learned can be shared through learning communities and other partnerships formed within and among schools and colleges is an important aspect of the work of the committee.
