Abstract: The Pacific Voices project builds a community of teachers who construct and share resources using a variety of educational technologies. The teacher teams are based in fourteen school sites around the Pacific including the Republic of the Marshalls (Majuro and Ebeye), The Federated States of Micronesia (Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, Yap), Guam, Saipan, Palau, American Samoa, and Hawai`i (O`ahu, Kaua`i, Hawai`i). Teachers are encouraged to use their own unique cultural voice in developing projects that document the traditional knowledge and village wisdom. A compilation of videos from each island community celebrating various aspects of the culture and language will be shared.
