Abstract: WebSTAR, a curriculum design tool designed to promote intercampus collaboration among teacher education faculty and their classes, was developed in response to the increasing demand on teacher education faculty to utilize and model the use of the Internet with their students. Four WebSTAR projects, representing 10 faculty members and 182 undergraduate students, are summarized. This paper defines the structure and design of the WebSTAR tool and reports on the perceptions of faculty and pre-service teachers on how WebSTAR facilitated powerful teaching and learning.
