Abstract: Abstract: Much of training of the use of new technologies in the classroom is geared twoard upgrading existing technology not changing methods or approaches to student learning. Unfortunately, the new technologies have become more of a convenience than a powerful tool to transform teaching and learning in the classroom. As Becker (1994) notes, as teachers begin using new technology the shift will be from not having enough computers to not having enough time.
