Abstract: Converting course websites from a collection of static pages to Semantic Web ontologies provides several benefits for both students and faculty, ultimately resulting in a more effective course-delivery method. This paper focuses on an approach in which course information is displayed from a course ontology. By creating an ontology of course material, computers are able to not only store, but also understand the contained course knowledge. We have extended the normal course delivery systems to provide such features by encoding the course information using the Resource Description Framework.
