Abstract: How do we diffuse innovative use of educational media without deflating its perceived “ease of implementation” by our faculty, staff and students? British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) is creating an infrastructure for developing and delivering educational media casting (podcasting) opportunities to its faculty, staff and students with contextual support, but without administrative interference. Through its Educational Media Casting project deliverables, BCIT is testing an innovation deployment model that identifies, guides development of, and delivers mobile learning (with educational media) opportunities that should prove to positively impact its perceived “ease of implementation”.
