Abstract: Abstract: Reading hypertext has become a worldwide fashion or rather a habit for many students. Hypertext proved effective in facilitating reading comprehension. Like all the students of computer generation, the majority of EFL students (74%) at Tabouk University, Saudi Arabia, spend almost four hours per day reading Internet-based hypertexts. However, most of the students (73%) could not comprehend the information content of these texts. Therefore, this study aimed at identifying and developing hypertext reading strategies among EFL students.
