Abstract: Newly revised computer science curriculum in Korea changed from computer literacy and computer application oriented curriculum to computer science oriented. The programming education has been a hot potato because it can improve a learner’s problem solving ability and logical thinking ability, but also can have some difficulties to study with demanding some superior contents and ways for a learner. Robot-based programming education can be a suitable alternative. This study is aimed to analyze the common motivation factors of robot-based programming education with reviews of literatures, and then to develop the teaching-learning model to stimulate and maintain a learner’s motivation with Delphi method. This research can be valuable to suggest directions of a future research to support possibilities of the robot-based programming education in terms of a learner’s affective domains particularly.
