Abstract: This case study categorized informational communication technologies (ICT) utilized by universities in Japan for international cooperation projects. Author used “Collaborative situations” (Granott, 1993) were used as a framework for categorizing communication tools. Results of this study reveal important factors necessary to implement successful international cooperation.
