Abstract: In this paper we describe an ongoing BSc graduation project, which handles the automatic assignment of TAs (Teaching Assistants) to courses. This project is a web-based application that would assist the Information Technology (IT) department at King Saud University (KSU) to create lab schedules automatically. The system allows the TAs to enter their course preferences and available times. Then, the tool will generate the schedules for all TAs automatically, while taking into consideration a number of constraints. The tool also allows the manual modification of the generated schedules if needed. Using this tool, the process of schedule generation will be done in a very simple and efficient way, which will save time and effort for the IT department staff.
