Abstract: We developed a software tool to support PowerPoint presentations with Android mobile device. The software enables teachers to (1) change slides by swiping a small slide on a mobile device, (2) refer to thumbnails of the slides, (2) jump to a particular slide, (3) draw annotations directly on a slide during a presentation, (4) take a picture and insert it on a new slide, and (5) save annotated and picture attached slides as a normal PowerPoint file. Our goal is to increase interaction between a teacher and students in PowerPoint-based lectures. Responding to the prototype evaluation, we have developed an improved version and launched it to the public on May 2011. By now we have gotten positive feedback and received further requests for new functions.
