Abstract: A traditional Learning Object (LO) creation process involves many specialized personnel. The creation of high quality, usable LOs relies on frequent face-to-face interaction between them. Among these interactions, the ones about visuals is critical in the creation of highly usable LOs. This dependency on face-to-face communication limits the number of LOs that be created in a given time. In this paper, we propose an alternate, simplified, LO creation process in which the visual communication (VC) expert & the designers need not be present, even though their expertise is present in the process.
