Abstract: Digital libraries can greatly enhance the learning experience. They help to diversify, enrich, and expand the subject matter at hand. Digital libraries are proliferating at a phenomenal rate. Faculty personnel need tools and strategies for easily organizing the digital libraries and artifacts that they choose to incorporate into their teaching. This presentation thus addresses this major obstacle that faculty frequently cite for not using digital libraries in their teaching: How do they organize the abundance of digital resources available online? Pearltrees, an intuitive and freely available online tool offers a way to organize digital resources in an effective and intuitive manner. This presentation will thus introduce this Web 2.0 tool as a means for organizing and adding resources. A brief explanation of setting up an account, adding pearls, pearltrees, and organizing them is included as well.
