Abstract: New Common Core State Standards require educators to re-examine their use of multimedia to address student standards in the classroom. This paper investigates the most effective use of multimedia technology in addressing Common Core State Standards for literacy in the English Language Arts and core content classroom. The authors assert that the most optimal use of multimedia technology is in the sharing of research. The authors share a task and rubric designed to address multiple content and Common Core State Standards for literacy and technology.
