Share Paper: Creating Assessments for Use on Mobile Devices Using Google Forms and jQuery Mobile

Abstract: Google Forms were used to create a classroom assessment concerning how useful and applicable smart phones are for evaluating course content and teaching praxis. The Google Form assessment tool was created and then embedded in a Web page created using the jQuery Mobile framework. Students in two doctoral seminars: (a) Education Leadership, and (b) Qualitative Research Methods (n=37) viewed and answered a multiple nominal item questionnaire using their smart phones.
