Research on Lesson Using Information and Communication Technology by Young Teachers

Abstract: In this paper, we report on the results of the study of how the young teachers to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT). In Japan, the Interactive White Board (IWB) and Tablet PC (TPC) was introduced into a lot of elementary school in 2009. Therefore, it is important that young teachers become familiar with the IWB and the TPC. They have not mastered the use of ICT at university students. From such a situation, we have studied how the young teachers using ICT. We have focused on the study of the composition power of lesson. The results of the study, we were able to clarify the following. When the lesson began, it is effective to use the IWB. When setting the learning task, IWB is very effective. When learning solving the problems, TPC is a very effective. When learning is finished, it is effective to use the IWB. In addition, we were able to clarify the intention to use ICT to learning of each scene.
