Abstract: This paper is a report on the findings of a small-scale preliminary study based on a quantitative survey involving teachers at two high schools in Hamburg, Germany. The study was conducted to research the teachers’ attitude regarding the implementing of IWBs and to explore if there is a link between perceiving oneself as competent in handling IWBs and assessing them as enriching classroom education.
