Abstract: The purpose of this proposal is to provide an overview and initial outcomes of the Mobile Learning Initiative (MLI) at a small private university in the southeastern United States. This session will a) discuss the structure and model for the initiative, b) share the MLI’s assessment model, c) relate findings from the first three semesters of implementation, and d) openly discuss the benefits, success, challenges, and limiting factors of launching a large-scale technological initiative focused on the enhancement of teaching and learning. In the sections below, an overview of the MLI, our research and findings, and ideas for future work are discussed.
