Abstract: Improved usability should address many of the issues currently limiting adoption of eText and other digital course materials (DCM). To date there are only a handful of published usability studies and those are limited in their usefulness due to validity or research method. Lacking in the literature is a clear set of usability heuristics tailored for eText and DCM. This roundtable is intended to address the void in usability for this educational environment.
