Abstract: As few teachers in Japan are qualified to evaluate complex debates, we designed a virtual debating game that provides students with feedback on their debate performance, thereby eliminating the need for a highly skilled instructor. This game can contribute to cultivating secondary students’ ability to recognize, evaluate, and judge various viewpoints and to work towards a consensus.
