Abstract: While mobile learning has been around for the past decade, much research is still needed to clarify its pedagogical effectiveness. In the present study, researchers have distributed a survey to assess students’ usage of mobile devices and attitudes towards the mobile learning. Participants are students in the U.S. and Israel universities. The study aims to answer the following questions: To what extent, do students’ attitudes towards mobile learning predict their academic mobile usage outside class? Is there a significant difference between the U.S. and Israel students in terms of mobile device usage and attitudes towards mobile learning? The authors discuss the results and implications of the study and provide suggestions for further research.
