Abstract: While the notion of distributing learning through videoconferencing is certainly not new, the complexity of designing new generation learning spaces that allow for large cohorts of students to be connected presents a very different challenge. Streaming live lectures through videoconferencing equipment has been undertaken by a multitude of universities to bridge the geographical divide between students and teaching staff. However, the interactive engagement of large classes is not so commonly attempted.
