Share Paper: Science Teaching, Teachers and ICT in the Finnish Schools

Abstract: Finnish school students have in the top ten in the OECD PISA studies during the last 14 years in mathematics, reading and science. Typical for Finnish schools is that there is very little variance in the performance between the lowest and highest performing students and also between sexes. There are several reasons for the good test results. One of them is evidently the quality of overall pedagogy in the classrooms.
