Abstract: Clicker systems are gaining widespread use in the classroom as they promote active learning methods. Despite their success and value as an instructional technology, existing clicker systems do not address adequately the issue of feedback for student responses provided through clickers. This paper discusses Re-KAP, a novel software based clicker system that provides both formative and summative feedback to students on their classroom performance. The feedback provided to students does not compromise their anonymity, a condition that is fundamental to successful operation of clickers.
