Evaluation of Motivational Aspects in Educational Media and Technology
The use of technological tooling for educational purposes is currently in focus. Several tools of this type are broadcast through various ways, but when it comes to evidence about their motivational value, i.e. that helps the student to maintain focus on the learning in a pleasant way, it is not that simple to accomplish such verification. In this context, this work presents the proposal of a heuristic-based method to evaluate the motivational aspects with this kind of tool can prosecute in the will of a student about a given subject. The evaluation method is described and exemplified in details, as well as a discussion based on first results from the use of this method proposal to evaluate an educational technology.
