Abstract: The increased need to use ICT and social media in education has been recognized in the teacher training at Tampere University of Applied Sciences School of Vocational Teacher Education (TAOKK). The skills and positions of teacher students towards the use of social media were explored through a case study including the collection of narratives before and after a period of intensive use of Google tools.
