Share Paper: Developing a Federal Medical Simulation Curriculum System

Abstract: This is a case study on developing a curriculum system for the Federal Medical Simulation Training Consortium (nine U.S. military medical organizations and the Department of Veterans Affairs’). The Tri-Service Medical Simulation Training Initiative (TMSTI) partnered with the Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards and Student Testing at UCLA to develop a curriculum assessment software application. The first step in this process was to collect over 14,000 curriculum-related consortium documents.
