Abstract: The GlobalEd 2 project (GE2) is a 14-week educational simulation designed to promote science inquiry skills among middle school students using a problem-based learning (PBL) approach situated in an international context. The results of a single large-scale implementation are reported (N=597). Results indicate a significant gain in outcomes related to science inquiry skills from pre to post testing for all students beyond that experienced by students in a control condition.
