Abstract: When practicing teachers can become students in a constructivist environment, they benefit by experiencing constructivism both as students, and as teachers.. In this presentation, we demonstrate and discuss how, in different classes, Ed.D. candidates generated the majority of the content for heir course by collaboratively exploring, critiquing, discussing, refining, and building their own content knowledge. Follow-on discussions help determine the extent to which the experiences have impacted practice as the teachers returned to their classrooms.
