Abstract: Many studies have been done related to traditional face-to-face teaching and the learning process of English as a foreign language. But little has been said about the use of online environments to teach and learn English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Nowadays, globalization and the Internet have influenced education in a number of aspects, such as enhancing students’ motivation while performing asynchronous activities, and facilitating courses from any part of the world.
