The Impact of Using Learning Management System on Physics Achievement among King Saud University (KSU) Students
Abstract: The study aimed to investigate the effect of using Learning Management System (LMS) on Physics achievement among KSU students. The study sample consisted of 106 students who were studying General Physics course ( Phys 145 ) at KSU. The students were divided into two groups: the experimental group (50 students) who studied physics by using Learning Management System; and the control group (56 students) who studied the same content by using the traditional method. In order to achieve the aim of this study, an achievement test was used before and after finishing the study experiment. The analysis results of t-test for the students' scores on the achievement test indicated that there were statistically significant differences at (a = 0.05) in physics achievement. These differences were in favor of the experimental group, who studied physics using Learning Management System. Finally, based on these findings, some recommendations are presented.
