Abstract: The authors' previous work in studying of how digital students use technology for collaboration as members of international teams is updated with the strong use of social media. The authors describe a project pairing students from their two universities who work together throughout the semester. Students must select and use web-based collaboration tools to communicate with their partners to produce a tangible work product demonstrating their research of an upcoming technology trend.
