Best Practices in Teaching Gen XYZ of All Abilities

Best Practices Session ID: 45946

Abstract: Risa Blair and Tisha Radcliffe each bring over 14 years of experience as as facilitators, practitioners of instructional design, and development specific to online learning to the session. They are passionate about online learning and breaking down barriers to create greater learner engagement. The session will highlight essential elements to incorporate into teaching and learning practices to ensure success for Gen XYZ learners of all abilities. Do you often wonder what the learners across the generations are thinking and how to reach them? We have too! Let’s consider what learners across generations may need along with the learning challenges they may face. You might be surprised to find that they all may need the same thing or something slightly different. When it comes to providing content, learning tools, and instruction, one must consider the many learning challenges for users from disparate generations and the diversity of accommodations necessary to support learning.
