Share Paper: Connecting Multi-location Student Cohorts Using Synchronous Technologies in the Tertiary Education Setting

Abstract: E-learning is on the rise in Australia, and programs are increasingly designed for groups of distributed learners. In response, University of Wollongong researchers conducted a study to examine the effectiveness of an online e-learning synchronous platform in training pre-service teachers from multiple campuses. The study included pre-service teacher students, including 17 located on the University of Wollongong’s main campus and 58 students joining online from Wollongong and its various satellite campuses.
